The history of ISM eCompany
ISM eCompany has been guaranteeing innovative technical
solutions for more than 15 years. From humble beginnings we have
grown into an authority in the field of eBusiness. In 1992 Jan Kees
de Jager and Karel van der Woude started Spectra Vision, at first
focusing at new media solutions, like interactive kiosks, CD-Rom
productions and interactive columns for retail. Assignments soon
followed from Hema, Bijenkorf and Bruna.
ISM
Spectra Vision soon changed its name to Innovative Solutions in
Media. The specialization of the company also changed to the
development of web applications. In 2003 the company has grown to
35 specialists, focusing on the realization of internet solutions
that offer result. ‘E-commerce that works’, is the new
slogan.
ISM eCompany
Through several take-overs ISM has become a full service web
agency. A pro-active partner in the fields of internet technology,
concept development, e-learning, ERP and CRM. ISM eCompany is born.
ISM eCompany has been in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 constantly
since 2002, and in 2005 even became the Number One eCommerce
Organization in the Emerce 100.
Van Nelle Ontwerpfabriek
In 2006 ISM eCompany moved to a more fitting location: the
stately Van Nelle Ontwerpfabriek in Rotterdam. From this location
more than 100 employees service customers like Heineken, AKO,
Vitae, A.S. Watson and Akzo Nobel.
The Number One in eBusiness
Through different take-overs recently, 220 people work for ISM
eCompany. We are still growing quickly thanks to the constant
product development and by expanding our solutions and consultancy
services. Through the years we have grown to be an authority in the
eBusiness world and we carry this position with pride. We are
without a doubt, The Number One in eBusiness.
