ISM eCompany realizes unique webshop for Decorette

As a broad based living store Decorette for more than 30 years has been the interior specialist when it comes to interior fashion. Offering a broad array of shading, curtain fabrics, paint and wallpaper, lighting and accessories.

After a succesfull cooperation within the living formula Altijd Goed Slapen by Euretco, Decorette is now also being helped with its retail formula. The sale of products and services will now also change to online, so the consumer can reach Decorette both online and offline. ISM eCompany's creative partner GuiltyPeople has been asked to realize the graphical and interaction design for both the website and the web shop. GuiltyPeople's design team faced the challenge to recreate to an online environment the feeling a consumer gets in a physical shop of Decorette.

In the web shop of Decorette a customer is given the unique possibility to easily combine different product groups within an online environment of his own making. For instance, the online room planner of Decorette one of the many carpets can be chosen and compared with one of the wallpapers. From this inspiring environment customers directly place their products in their shopping basket. With this formula consumers can connect their products to their living space and order them. Its goal is to raise conversion. The design team was given the challenge to create the most inspiring environment possible, without making it too difficult for the end user.

Within this new eCommerce environment (based on the renowned eCommerce platform Sana by ISM eCompany) online lighting, flooring, carpets and wallpaper will be sold during the first phase.

This way ISM eCompany realizes a unique and inspiring webshop with a personal and attractive customer experience for one of the top interior designers in the Netherlands.
