ISM and GuiltyPeople redesign Kruidvat
Assignment: Give the existing Kruidvat webshop a new
look and feel
Solution:
For the technical realization Kruidvat has looked towards
full-service internet agency ISM eCompany. The graphical and
interaction design was done by interactive agency GuiltyPeople,
which is subsidiary of ISM eCompany. Henry Klerks, Creative
Director of GuiltyPeople offers more insight into the project: "For
this redesign we have looked at the usability of the portal. How
can the client find his way through the extensive assortment of
Kruidvat in the best possible way? Besides, the look-ad-feel of the
website has been adjusted to fit with the offline communication of
Kruidvat."
Result:
At the Kruidvat website visitors can experience the new way in
which Kruidvat presents itself to the online shopper. Besides a
more contemporary design by GuiltyPeople also the usability for
customers has been improved. Jurjen Jongejan, account manager at
ISM eCompany: "The navigation has been improved through the
construction of a more effective structure for the website. Besides
this it has been quite a challenge to organize the clusters of the
new total product offering in a clear manner. Besides the new
navigation structure special actions are shown in a clearer way
through a special ‘discount browser’. This way both the
discounts and the normal assortment are shown in a clearer way."
Klerks states: "With this redesign Kruidvat once again has an
eCommerce environment that fits with these times and is flexible
enough to quickly react to new discounts."
